What is this Burial Assistance Program?

  • It is a death benefit given to member-consumers of INEC

What are the objectives of this program?

  • To instill the sense of belongingness of the member-consumers to the cooperative.
  • To update the membership records of the cooperative.

Who is entitled to the INEC's Burial Assistance Program?

  • INEC member who has an  "active account" with INEC. Active account means that the account is presently connected or if it is disconnected, it has not remained dormant for a period of six (6) months.

Who are considered beneficiaries of the deceased member?

  • The legal heirs of the deceased  member based on the following order of precedence:
    * Legal spouse;
    * Children;
    * Parents;
    * Brothers and sisters.

Requirements in claiming Burial Assistance (1-original, 2 duplicates)

               1. Birth Certificate
               2. Death Certificate
               3. Accident Report if any.
               4. Photocopy of the Official Receipts/funeral service.
               5. Marriage certificate if the beneficiary is the spouse
               6. Birth certificate if the beneficiary are the following:

            6.1 Children/parents/brothers and sisters.
            6.2 Other siblings.

  7. Special Power of Attorney (SPA)
  8. Change membership / 2 pcs. 1x1 ID picture
  9. 2 valid ID cards of claimant.
10. Properly accomplish Application Form
